Sunchon Tunnel Massacre Survivors

In 1950, in the early days of the Korean War, the North Koreans swarmed South Korea and captured hundreds of American soldiers. This book tells the story of seven men who, as captives, were among the prisoners marched to North Korea where they were put on a train and systematically executed.

These seven survivors met again after 54 years, and relived their story.

Sunchon Tunnel Massacre Survivors received a Gold Medal in the 2010 Stars & Flags Book Awards.
